Crowsley Rose Lodge

Awarded 4 star status for 2018 by the Tourist Board (Visit England), Crowsley Rose Lodge is a detached, self-contained, one-bedroom, ground-floor unit in the grounds of a 17C. thatched cottage, located in a very rural part of the stunning Oxfordshire countryside on the Chiltern Way Extension Footpath. This is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching, with golfing and horse riding facilities nearby. There are pubs and restaurants within walking distance. A car is necessary for travelling further afield.

Crowsley is about 3 miles from the River Thames and the idyllic town of Henley-on-Thames ("Causton" in "Barnaby" country of "Midsomer Murders") which has many shops and restaurants, and also 3 miles to bustling Reading, with Oxford city centre just a short drive away.
